Stephen Ollock leads state in Singles and Doubles averages. Glenn Lash leads state in Handicap for sixth time. Stephanie Sandler tops women in Singles and Doubles. Miss Sandler sets state women's record again in doubles. Michelle Schaffer heads women in Handicap.

  2004 Composite Averages


                                                Singles

For the fifth time in his career, Stephen Ollock lead the state in Singles averages with a .9909 average. This is the 10th time "Doc" has averaged .9900 or better in a single season. His highest average occurred in 1996 when he broke targets at a .9944 clip. Shawn Kirsch was second with a .9900 average. Wellington Patterson was third with .9890. Stephanie Sandler led the ladies with .9712. This is the first time she has led the state women in singles shooting.

Handicap

Glenn Lash led the state in Handicap averages for the sixth time with a .9324 average on 3300 twenty seven yard targets. His six first place finishes is third highest in state history following Frank Little's nine and Steve Crothers eight. Another 27 yarder, Ken Darroch finished second with .9274 on 3900 targets. Darroch holds the state record with .9517 in 1994. Richard Brunell was third with .9260. Michelle Shaffer took the ladies honors with .9150. Jean Mariano was second and Belinda Pascoe third.

Doubles

Stephen Ollock led the state twin bird gunners with a .9733 average on 2100 targets. This is the second time he has led the state with the last coming back in 2000 when a set the current state record of .9800. Ken Darroch was second with .9678 and Steve Huber third with .9607. Stephanie Sandler led the women with .9443 on 2800 targets. Linda Straub was second and Patricia Joy was third.
