Oaks, PA won his first PA Grand Singles title with 200 straight. Belinda
Pascoe of New Castle, PA destroyed 199 to secure the ladies crown and
Ken Dahlgren of Lanse, PA took the
Senior Vet title with 197. Leonard Cobosco of Stanhope, NJ broke
199 to secure the Vet award. Stephanie Sandler of New Ringgold,
PA became the first junior gunner to win the Doubles title with 99x100. Debbie
Ohye's 96 secured the ladies crown. Attendance records were set in
the main doubles and handicap events. Shoot participation was down 4.7%
from 2004 with the singles event being off 6.2% from a year ago.
Sunday's championship handicap saw a
record 517 gunners take the line for glory, trophies and money. Fred
Barkalow of Brodheadsville, PA smashed 100 straight to secure the
main Handicap Championship. His perfect score was the first such score
in the 33 year run of the Pennsylvania Grand. Tammy van Blargan
Hensel took the ladies trophy while Kay Ohye was runner-up with a
98.
Both the HAA and the HOA went to Ohye.
Debbie Ohye won the ladies HAA.
