Tom Ezolt shoots at 42,400 targets in 2005 to lead Pennsylvania gunners. Dennis Spancake second, Peter Frederiks third. Jean Mariano leads women with 14,000 targets. State Shooters shoot at  6,974,475 targets in 2005 up from the 6,594,375 targets last year, up 5.4% 

Shooting at 42,450 targets during the 2005 season, Tom Ezolt of Greencastle, PA led the state in total targets shot for the 2005 season. Dennis Spancake, last years leader, blasted away at 39,900 this past year to finish second. Peter Frederiks finished third with 28,250 targets. Rain, snow, heat or rain are not a problem with these three gunners. Finishing first among the ladies was Jean Mariano with 14,000. Jean Boatman was second with 13,400 and KayLynn Hamilton was third with 12,100.

Tom Ezolt led the state in singles targets with 28,150. Jean Mariano led the ladies with 6,200. Ezolt led the state last year in singles.

Joe Panto of Easton led the state in doubles targets by shooting at 14,600 doubles targets in 2005.  Peter Frederiks was a distant second with 11,550 and Dennis Spancake was third with 11,400. Jean Boatman led the women with 3,800.

Dennis Spancake fired away at 12,700 handicap targets to again lead the state. Jean Boatman led the women with 6,600 targets.
