winds lower scores in 16th
PA All American Frank Pascoe wins HOA, New York's Doug Duncan Doubles winner. Jackie Hess Ladies Singles Champion. Ralph Challingsworth wins Vet HAA and HOA.

Record
low scores prevailed all weekend as the 2006 edition of the Keystone
unfolded at the PSSA home grounds in Elysburg, PA. Total targets
trapped during the three day run numbered 441,400 compared to 509,200
last year. All American Robert
Malmstedt of Somerville, NJ won the windy Singles Championship with
199. The only other 199 was turned by Larry Grabowski of
Collegeville, PA, who settled for the Class AA award. Later in the day
Larry came out on top of the HAA standing with a record low score of
382. Don't turn your nose up at a 382 as it was four targets better than
the second highest HAA score. Frank Pascoe missed 51 targets in
the three days of shooting but it was good enough for the HOA trophy.
You get the idea. It was windy. Doug Duncan of Gasport, NY broke
the only 98 to win the Doubles title. Frank Rively finished with
the only 97 to win the AA prize. Only two 95's were posted in the main
Handicap event with Lloyd Woolford of Reistertown, MD winning
over Steven Thomer of Berwyn, PA.
