Requirements for Pennsylvania All State Teams.

The PSSA selects 5 All State Teams each year, including a first
and second team with each group. These teams are selected
primarily on that shooters composite singles, handicap and doubles
average from the previous year. So the shooters with the highest
composite averages for 2009 are placed on the 2010 All State Team.

How Teams are Selected.

There are no arbitrary decisions as to the selection of individuals to the All
State Team. However, listed below are certain criteria that must be met
in order to be considered for the team. The teams are selected strictly
on composite averages. You take your singles, handicap and doubles
averages, add them together, than divide by three (3). You than have a
composite average. The highest composite average shooters are than
selected to each team if they meet the criteria listed below.
