WILLIAM SHUTT (1924-1997)
Elected to the Pennsylvania Trapshooting Hall of Fame in 1998 --- Began affiliation with trapshooting in 1934 as a trapboy --- Treasurer of the Valley Gun & Country Club for 45 years --- Trainer of beagles and bird dogs with many, many field trial champions --- Worked with the Pennsylvania Game Commission from 1959 --- Studied game laws and firearms training at the Pennsylvania Game Commission's Ross Leffler School of Conservation --- He was a certified hunter safety instructor --- Retired from the Shamokin News Item in 1989 after 44 years --- Elected PSSA Treasurer in 1985, serving 12 years, than elected PSSA Treasurer the year of his death --- He was a fixture at the Pennsylvania State Shoot for decades.

ANDREW LONG (1907-1996)
First inductee into Pennsylvania Trapshooting Hall of Fame in 1988 --- PSSA Treasurer for 31 years --- Elected to ATA Hall of Fame in 1982 --- ATA President in 1972 --- Selected to 7 All American Teams and named captain once and co-captain once --- Winner of 7 major Pennsylvania State titles, including three State Doubles crowns, two HAA titles, one HOA crown and the State Handicap title in 1951.
